11/01/2017. I got a message around 2100 GMT today from Rob saying they were about halfway. Should be there in about 48 hours and says the moon is bright enough that they might land during the night. I am sure that with depend on the sea state at that time.
Rob says again to stress that they will listen in the USA General portions of the bands as much as possible. Please look at the suggested frequency list on this site.
Again if they are doing directive calling to a particular continent, SA and OC can call at any time as in pass expeditions there has been small activity from these so they will not affect the pileup. If calling for NA then SA can call at that time also.
Plans are for a big push on the low bands.
